Aramid Fiber Honeycomb Core
The aramid fiber honeycomb is made from aramid paper, which is produced by intermolecular aramid (1313) or meta-aramid (1414), through a series of complex processing procedures. Its key features include low density, high specific strength and specific stiffness (approximately 9 times that of steel), strong impact resistance, outstanding corrosion resistance and self-extinguishing properties, excellent weather resistance and insulation properties, unique resilience and vibration energy absorption, and good high-temperature stability. It has been widely used as an ideal core material in aircraft sandwich structure components. In the radar communication field, due to the excellent dielectric properties and high transmission rate of aramid paper honeycomb, it is an ideal core material for sandwich structure antenna covers. The characteristics of aramid honeycomb, such as light weight, high compressive strength, shear strength, and good fatigue strength, good adhesion and assembly processability with composite materials, have made it the preferred honeycomb core material for unmanned aircraft, jet model aircraft, boat manufacturing, and high-speed trains. The product complies with the HB5435-89 "NH-1 Aramid Paper Honeycomb Core Material" specification. Our company produces aramid honeycomb specifications including imperial 1/8', 3/16', 1/4' and metric dimensions of 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 4.0mm and various densities of cores.
